ONCE MORE THE TRADITION IS KEPT

JURY’S SPECIAL HONOURABLE MENTION AWARD FROM NASA TO KÜLTÜR2000

Kültür2000 Science High School students once again kept the tradition that started in 2012 and achieved great success. In the International NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Contest sponsored by the American National Space Association, Kültür2000 became the only Turkish school to receive jury’s special honourable mention award with the project named “TERRA NOVA”.

With our THE EDENproject, we had become the only Turkish school to win jury’s special honourable mention award in 2012. In the same contest, “THE CEIBA” project of Kültür2000 had the 2nd place in the world in 2013. Kültür2000 College that won degrees from NASA and National Space Society, “THE OMNIA” project in 2014, did not break the tradition this year and became the only Turkish school to win jury’s special honourable mention.

Kültür2000 Science High School 11th Grade students Sibel Şentürk, Cansu Doğanay, Öykü Kaya, Ceyhan Baykal, Beyza Aydemir, Pırıl Erdem and Aycan Yumrukçal designed posters to demonstrate the work of school’s NASA project team.
